Africa Film For Impact Festival Set To Kick Off In November


A Non Governmental Organization Film For Impact Foundation in collaboration with High Definition Film Academy is set to make great impact around the globe in an African film festival.

Speaking with newsmen in Abuja, the Director, Film For Impact Foundation, Bright Wonder said the aim of Africa Film For Impact Festival (AFFIF) was to showcase, celebrate, and empower films and filmmakers.

According to him the festival is committed to social change contents, reflections on the COVID 19 pandemic and opportunities.

Wonder noted that the Hybrid Film festival, which would screen short and feature narrative and documentary films with purpose over a 5 day period, would also host film premieres, master classes, panel discussions, workshops, an Impact Carnival.

He further said the major challenges in the Nigerian movie industry was not piracy but distribution and profit margin.

He called on film makers to focus on movies that would transform Nigeria positively.
