Beyoncé Drops New Single “Black Parade” To Celebrate Juneteenth

In celebration of Juneteenth, R&B singer Beyoncé dropped a surprise song titled “Black Parade”.
The track includes powerful lyrics about black history, police brutality and the George Floyd protests. “Put your fists up in the air, show black love,” sings the star.
Proceeds from the song will benefit Black-owned small businesses, a page on the icon’s website entitled “Black Parade Route” announced. Specifically, the proceeds will go to BeyGOOD’s Black Business Impact Fund which is administered by the National Urban League.
Juneteenth commemorates the day in 1865 that the last group of slaves in America learned they were free, two years after Emancipation Proclamation took effect.
