Clergy Condemns Killings Of Innocent Nigerians, Attacks On Nation’s Critical Infrastructure

The Primate Church of Nigeria Anglican communion, Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba has expressed concern over continued attacks on the nation’s critical infrastructure and killings of innocent Nigerians in some parts of the country.
Addressing the opening of Anglican bishops retreat in Abuja, archbishop Ndukuba appealed to the federal government and security agencies to redouble their efforts in addressing the spate of insecurity which is posing serious threat to national peace and development..
While calling on traditional, political and religious leaders to work collectively and fish out those perpetrating these evil acts, the Anglican Primate noted those behind the attacks should be identified, arrested and punished.
On the ongoing fight against corruption by the federal government, archbishop Ndukuba stressed the need for Nigerians to avoid sentiments and ethinical differences to engender a better nation. Archbishop Ndukuba expressed optimism that the country would come out stronger from its challenges.
