FCTA Suspends Issuance Of Building Plan Approvals For Lugbe District

The Federal Capital Territory Administration says it has suspended processing and issuance of building plan approval for Lugbe District, as well as all ongoing developments in the district.

This is contained in a statement signed by Director, Department of Development Control, Mr Mukhtar Galadima.

According to the statement, the suspension became necessary due to the ongoing harmonisation of developments in the district with the Abuja Master Plan.

The statement further decries the current state of illegal developments in Lugbe, with several contraventions, including arbitrary change of land use, among others.

The statement urges the public to be guided and ensure compliance to avoid sanctions or having such structures demolished.
