NGO Advocates Passage Of Electoral Reform Bill

A Non Governmental Organization, Centre for Liberty, has called on the Senate to Consider and pass the Electoral Reform bill currently before the Senate.
The call was made in Abuja by the convener of the group Ario-dare Atoye during a peaceful match to the National Assembly.
The Bill which was passed by the 8th Senate was not accented to by President Mohammad Buhari for some legislative Flaws.
It was represented by the Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo Agege taking into consideration the Barrage of court cases that bedevil every election.
The convener of the group urged the senate to see to the passage of the bill to ensure a smooth conduct of the upcoming elections.
Mr Ario Atoye implored the President of the Senate to ensure that the Electoral Reform bill is amongst the bills that the Senate would give accelerated consideration before the end of. the year.
